Pappa al Pomodoro
A rustic, technique-driven Pappa al Pomodoro where toasted bread cubes absorb the tomato and stock entirely — every bite a burst of bright, fresh flavor. The bread must be fully dried through before it hits the pan as any residual moisture and it will break apart rather than absorb. Country loaf or ciabatta only; never sourdough. The whole cook is 7 minutes maximum. Move quickly, add the stock and Martone Street Campagna Marinara gradually, and trust the bread to tell you when it’s ready — it will look glossy and plump but still hold its shape. Serve immediately. This dish will not wait.
